Decora is an app that uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to generate and edit interior redesign images from photos you upload. This page explains what data the app handles, and how.
Decora does not ask for an email address, a name or a phone number. Each installation gets an anonymous identity (through Supabase anonymous authentication) — a unique identifier with no personal data attached to it.
The room photos you upload, together with the text instructions describing what you want changed, are sent to the Google Gemini API to generate the redesigned images, and stored on our infrastructure (Supabase: database and file storage) so that you can see your project's version history.
Decora Pro subscriptions are processed entirely by Google Play Billing or the App Store — we have no access to card or payment data. The store only tells us whether a subscription is active, so that we can unlock the Pro features on your account.
We do not sell data to third parties, and the app shows no advertising.
Your projects, photos and conversations are stored for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all of your data at any time, from inside the app, under Profile → "Delete account and data".
Deletion is immediate and removes: the account's anonymous identity, projects, uploaded photos, generated images, conversations, generation history and subscription records. Image files are deleted from storage, not just the references to them in the database.
One exception: if you have reported an image generated by the app, the record of that report is kept, because it exists to investigate misuse of the service and would be pointless if the person who filed it could erase it. That record holds the report text and a reference to the image, and is not used for any other purpose.
If you delete only one project (not the account), it disappears from the app immediately, but that project's photos, generated images and version history are kept for up to 7 days — so that we can investigate a reported problem — and then permanently deleted. Account deletion has no such waiting period.

The app records usage events tied to your anonymous identity — for example, opening the subscription screen, starting or cancelling a purchase, creating or deleting a project, and image generation errors. The purpose is to fix failures and understand where people run into difficulty. These records do not include the contents of your photos or texts, are not used for advertising, and are deleted when you delete your account.
Decora is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from minors.
